Seatbelt Chime Deactivation

Tried to disable according to procedure in the manual but my belt reminder light never gos out. Suppose to go out in about 1 minute .What am I doing wrong?

Since New Hampshire appears to be the only state that doesn't have a seat belt law for adults, I guess this is a valid question. But I'm curious about why you wouldn't want to just put your seat belt on to make the light go away.

I guess I never considered someone preferring to die if their truck got damaged as a real way someone lives.

Bigger annoyance toe than the chime is the instrument panel monitor. When I'm parked and take it off... Stays on. Won't go away without pressing OK. I get it, frong two seats are buckled back isn't... Don't need a button press to confirm.

Just picked it up today and finding the little annoyances. Things I want shut off before I drive it. Head lights default to auto. Why?? Auto stop/start defaults to on Why?? Seat belt light/chime and the seat belt in the instrument cluster. Why? I never asked for this garbage!

Cheap fix for annoying chime($10 for 2) I drive on personal and commercial property, in and out of the truck and obviously no need for seat belt at that speed. Nice not to hear that anymore. Just remember to put in on when you're on the street again.

Yea, till the Massholes have taken over Southern NH, along with................ Still no state income or sales tax.

Thats a option and they sell just the clip to. I can unplug it under the seat and use a jump wire to. It would be easier though if the Ford procedure actually worked. I will take it to the dealer first and tell them its broke fix it.
