Seat swap?

Has anyone figured out how to replace the driver seat with a different seat all together? Is there any other ones that match the mount points, seatbelt buckle and plug and play with this truck? I have the XLT with Ecoboost and fully mechanic, non-electric driver’s seat. Initially the height of the bottom cushion bothered me but after some adjustments I’ve gotten used to it. Now if only I should get a little more upper back support. It feels scooped up top. Aside from changing the whole seat out I’d be interested in cushions that can be strapped on to improve that if anyone has suggestions of ones they’ve used.

I get it, these aren’t super expensive trucks so nobody should be expecting perfection, and I’m not, BUT they’re great overall and I’m totally down with having to make it work with whatever it takes.

Try the old fashioned beaded seat cushions. They look horrid but they get the job done.

Totally agree! The upper part of the seatback doesn't let me shoulders relax and instead pushed everything forward. Going to try an upholstery ro help shave some foam off to see if that helps

Someone should swap these 2023 Escape ST LINE ELITE Front Seats into their Maverick. These look sporty and comfortable and likely would be a perfect fit with no modifications needed.

I got the pair for under $800 and swapped them onto the stock sliders. Full power and heated including the passenger seat.

Wondering if the seats from a Bronco Sport would swap in. I test drove one when I went to pick up my maverick and they are definitely not the same seats but maybe the sliders match.

Frame should be identical, with the difference being the cushion and cover

Personally I find them comfortable. They fit snug but not too tight. It changes the driving experience drastically and keeps you from sliding around on the turns. The seats, digital cluster, and flat bottom wheel with paddle shifters transformed it from a pest control truck to a little race truck. Add coilovers with rear sway bar, front strut bar, close to 400 awhp with Brembos up front and it’s a damn near perfect daily driver. Factor in the small bed and room for 4 and you have the ultimate daily driver attainable by anyone. This is all just my opinion of course

Just FYI, that particular dude hasn't been around in almost two years, and I think there are still people on the forum he owes money to... not even joking.
