We really miss the seat cooling feature we had on our Explorer. Has anyone come up with an air-flow seat option that doesn’t look tacky (like the popular straw and wood ones of the old days) and actually fits Mav seats? Really don’t want to have to get cloth or sheepskin seat covers — which used to be the standard in Arizona. I can only imagine sweaty seats are even worse in more humid parts of the country. (I did search the forum - but it wouldn’t open the only post I found that seemed relevant.)🌵

The lack of vented seats is a major miss on Ford's part. They really need to have some of their design team be located in central Alabama.

Only solution I have found is to park in the shade and remote start the A/C.

We already do that. Is it only in AZ we’re willing to walk a mile in the parking lot to park under a tree?

I agree on the seat cooling. I bought my truck this past October and while I really like the faux leather seats I noticed that driving on warmer days it felt like the heated seat option was turned on. I'm already wondering what it going to be like next summer. I hate to have to cover them up. but might have to. Vented seats should be an option on the Lariat.

I am pretty sure @SloopJB has ventilated Katskinz that were a dealer add. Seriously doubt they are cheap, but in AZ it might be worth it regardless. (Sorry John if I am misremembering!)

I looked at the Katskinz website once and it seems like it is possible, but IIRC you have to contact them to get pricing info for that level of customization.

Non cooled seats in the valley during summer is not a concern of mine compared to no freaking cold water..I literally bought a cabin in the white mountains to mitigate that issue..

You'll have to move up to an F-150 for cooled seats, I don't think even the ranger raptor has cooled seats. The Maverick or the Ranger doesn't even include a power passenger seat on any trim.
