I purchased a CarPlay2 for the maverick. It never worked after I went through all the updates. CarPlay2 will not support a defective device and it cost 38.00 at my expense to send back for a replacement. Do not buy from them

Hi ,

There's no specific setting that needs to be tweaked in order for the adapter to work as it is a plug and play device. From the tests conducted for the models mentioned, so long as you have Apple Carplay active, it should work the way the instructions are provided.

However, we do not have a control over how the unit will respond to your car system.

We do apologize but we do not have a way to generate a return label.

I’ve used it the past 4 months with a Pioneer unit and only have problems when I go into reverse and camera switches on before CarPlay 2 connects

Okay so I am using my factory radio. It did not work ever. I have the same unit in my Chrysler Pacifica and it worked great. The point is I got a defective unit and they won’t do right. Stear clear in my opinion. They are based in china. They took over 6 weeks to get steps and now won’t stand by their product.
