Finally got mine. I put down $27k cash since I just refinanced my house, and if that is in my account, I'd spend some of it. Got tired of not having a car after a whole year, so I got a refund check for $26k that I just deposited into my savings account. Literally about to look at a Tacoma to buy in the meantime when I got the email. Can't decide whether I should still buy a Tacoma in case it's another year before I actually get it

Since you are a 2023 scheduled for 12/19 week I believe you have a good chance of it happening. We will see.

"Scheduled for production" means almost nothing to Ford.

I think it is a marketing department ploy that really means "Don't buy a Tacoma or Frontier already yet."

I'm curious -- this message was at the bottom of the "Confirmation" email from Ford after it was ordered by the dealer that I originally placed the order with in October of 2021. My reorder went in early morning on the 16th of September @ 06:19:03. I have been wondering if all "Confirmation" notices had this message or just the early orders? I got scheduled for the first week of production. For those that have been schedule, please check if this was at the bottom of your "Confirmation". There "MAY" be a clue here. From Ford: "Your vehicle order is one of the early orders for 2023 Maverick LARIAT, and because we are building this vehicle just for you, we wanted to share a bit more on our production process as it may impact your delivery time. As part of the quality assurance process at Ford Motor Company, customer orders are only built when all quality checks have been met. This process may lead to a longer wait time for your vehicle to be built, but is designed to help ensure your satisfaction. Also, please note that high demand combined with global supply‑chain constraints may impact vehicle model year, trim and feature availability. Please know we’re working hard to deliver your chosen vehicle and features as quickly as we can."

I believe everyone got that same message in their "order confirmation" email. Mine said the same thing. Then came that "45 day, sorry about the wait" email..

I got my 45 day as well so I am thinking its only a matter of time, and yes its good to know we are in the cue (of sorts) I will be almost as happy as the 22 owners and rollover recipients when the MY 22 business is done with, because that means we are in the works. I am confident the flow will be better on MY23 builds than 22. And I ordered a FWD ECO XL with spare tire.
