Sharp eye! Yes, it's a 3D printed replacement case. I didn't like how bulky the OEM case was and I happen to have access to a 3D printer at work. This is the one I used:Did you change the front case/frame?
Or is that a cheap knock-off?
Different look than my 3 yo one.
No logo.
What Would Hobbits DoWhat is "WWHOBD" compatibility?
I know this was a while ago now, but how did you get the scan gauge to read your trans temp and show what gear your is in? Just hooked my scan gauge 3 up to my tremor (24) today and was hoping for trans temp reading as I will be going out to the dunes this weekend and I want to keep an eye on all the temps.Thank you, like the display.

In a perfect world I would be able to see PTU temp RDU temp and transmission temp but I highly doubt I’ll be able to get all that.
Any info helps, thanks in advance!
Awesome! I was able to get the Pru like you said with xguages. Thank you so much! From the home screen go to more > X-Guage > Auto Scan
From there you can select your make and then let it scan for PIDs. Afterwards it will give you a list that you can select from which can then be added on the guage screen. I see an option for PTU temp but nothing for RDU temp. You might be able to get additional PIDs if you update the scanguage to the latest version which as of writing this appears to be version 27. I didn't update mine to check as it's working exactly as I need it to and I don't like to update or change things that are working without a good reason. Hope this helps, good luck!
Interesting. Are you able to show transmission fluid temperature??Wanted to throw this bit of info out there just encase anyone else ran into the same issue. I went to install my ScanGauge 3 unit in my new 2025 XL and the thing would never connect. I tried all of the recommended troubleshooting steps and nothing worked. I did some quick Google searches and found posts from people using the ScanGauge 3 with older Mavs and no one seemed to have any issues with it. I finally gave in and called ScanGauge support and after some quick troubleshooting the support guy had one of their engineers add my ScanGauge to a specific firmware update group. Afterwards a new firmware update was available for me and upon updating I had a new option to enable "WWHOBD compatibility" under Settings > Advanced > Compatibility. This got me up and running right away! As a bonus I've included a couple pictures of my ScanGauge "install".
