Today I got my new Maverick. I wanted to come on and say hello. I had a 2021 Bronco Sport that I owned for 4 years, but got rid of it last January for a Frontier Pro 4X. The mileage sucked, and I couldn't deal with it anymore. (average of 16 mpg) So today I traded it in on 2025 Maverick XLT hybrid in space white metallic. I'm looking forward to learning cool things about it on here.

Jeez, my Bronco does better than 16 mpg. Enjoy your new Maverick and the extra 20+ mpg.

Welcome. One of the first things you'll learn is that your hybrid Maverick will get double that 16 mpg on its WORST day and perhaps 3x that on it's best day. I believe you'll enjoy your Maverick

Hello and welcome to MTC. Congratulations on you new Maverick. Just wondering why you didn't post some pictures, well at least one of your new truck?

I think you will like the mileage but add the conveniences of getting in and out of the two trucks, ride, access to the bed and interior room, I think you will be ecstatic. I got in the backseat of a friends frontier and once we got to the restaurant, I couldn't get out, well I had a h___ of a time. I switched to the front seat when we left. Anyway best of luck with your new Maverick. I will be looking forward to seeing pictures of your new Maverick.

Welcome! You’re in good company here. Any little appearance or interior mods planned? Enjoy!
Starting with the basics, I'm taking it in tomorrow for bedliner, and then deciding on the type of tonneau cover to get. I've been looking at different mods and have seen some that I like, but I want to live with it for a little while and see what I think I need.

No pics because I just got it yesterday and it was almost dark when I got home. Plus buying a car can be a draining experience. Yesterdays wasn't bad at all (shout out to Mullinax Ford for a great buying experience) but it was a very long day between travel to and from, and just waiting around for them to find the vehicles I wanted to look at, and the paper work. I was done when I got home. I'll get some on here soon.

just my opinion but don;t even consider a Worksport AL3 cover. I bought one because it was USA made and price reflected that. After several weeks of calls, emails, and parts being sent to supposedly fix it they admitted they never tested it on a Maverick. It was too small to sit well on top of the rails to seal. So while it had a multi-ribbed seal design only 1 rib ever made contact with the bed. Cost me return shipping, which is not cheap, to return it.
I'm trying to decide between a soft or hard top. I want hard, but really hate the prices. I don't need the extra security really, so a soft top would be okay. I just hate to admit it but I run through a lot of car washes. It's Florida and a simple run down the street to the grocery store can cover the front end in bugs. I'd be doing it by hand all the time. No time for that. I'm not so sure the soft tops can handle the auto car washes.

I bought a hard trifold off of Amazon over a year ago for around $360. It's worked out well. The downside the last panel doesn't tilt up. So you either fold up two and use that part of the bed or remove it completely.

Not that big of a deal usually 5 minutes to re install once you figure it out the first time to install it and all hardware has been turned to fit. Up here in Michigan snow and leaves also a lot of reviews on soft top making noise from ripple. After a huge snowfall then turning to rain before refreezing just the weight alone I'm glad I purchased the hard vs soft.

Good luck deciding and best of luck with your decision.

Hope you decided and getting a spray in bed liner.

A tri-fold soft tonneau cover will have no problems going thru a big brush car wash.
I picked one of the least expensive models on ebay. It fits like a glove, looks great and does everything I want it to do. I have also had a similar one on my 3/4 ton Dodge for 8 years and have had zero problems with it.
Go ahead and spend a butt-ton more money on a hard cover if you want to but think of how many miles worth of gas you could be putting in your truck if you buy the soft cover instead.
