Round Headlights

Round headlights don't look good on a truck, not truck like, in my humble opinion.

Totally respect your opinion, but here’s an F-150 from the year I was born, a very long time ago

I really like the round headlights. Reminds me of the old Courier. And Ford could have saved money repurposing from the parts bin, not having to get DOT approvals, and probably lowered their lighting vendor unit cost by ordering 100k more Bronco units.

One of the things I like about my Maverick is it looks like a small F-150 and that early photo just is not my cup of tea. Took a second look at that photo and the whole grill area just looks off to me, looks more like a SUV than a modern truck. And yes years past there where some great looking trucks with round headlights.

I love the round head lights on my CJ and still feel that was the worse thing Chrysler did when they bought Jeep was swapping out the lights, Glad they switched back

Looking at it more and thinking about the early days when the maverick was a rumor and the Bronco sport front end was leaked, I was thinking it would have the same front end. While I like the Maverick front end, if it made it easier and cheaper and faster to produce, I would have been fine with the entire front end being BS.

I think I like the ones that come with the Maverick, but round ones are an interesting idea! Kind of reminds me of a Jeep with the round lights.

I was actually about to say, the bronco lights on the maverick make it look like a jeep type vehicle, something meant for off road kind off. I personally think it looks pretty good.

I was thinking about how cool the Maverick would look with round headlights like the Bronco Sports, did a search and came across this old article. What do you think? Or? I don’t think they could be swapped, but I think they look awesome. Sorry if this has already appeared elsewhere. Did a thread search and didn’t see it. Photo is from article.

I like that. Edited to add: I like the current look of the maverick lights, but I do think they are just a tad large. The round ones make the front more uniform to me.

‘I like it also and if it were an option, I probably would have gone that route. I doubt I’ll be spending the money to change it over though, if in fact they can be switched.
