Rostra cruise control installed on Maverick XL - my review

So glad I opted for the XLT over the XL as this Rostra Cruise Control seems crude.

I know the price was $2285 going from the XL to the XLT but I really liked these features added to the XLT:

Cruise Control
Power Tailgate Lock
Passenger Side Storage in Cargo Bed
Better and more comfortable cloth seats
Back Seat fold-down arm rest with cup holders
Power Side View Mirrors
Perimeter Alarm
Keypad Keyless Entry
Better looking Wheels

What did you use for the bed plug? I need to do something similar on my XL

I used a Nissan Titan outlet and oem 400w inverter

Rostra need a stalk that had a slight "L" bend in it so it doesn't angle down so low on the left side.

it comes with a angle wedge but if you angle down it will hit your knees

I agree it’s probably worth the upgrade. I got this one to try out for our company as it was the only one I could find. I plan to order a few hybrid models when available and probably xlt. I changed out the ugly wheels the 1st day.

I don't think most of this group could assume the position your boy took in that one picture without risking permanent injury.

Does any body know if the Rostra Dash Mount Cruise Control Switch Part # 250-3592 will work with the Rostra Cruise Control. I wanted to mount this instead of doing the cheesy stalk that comes with the kit. I was thing of the void area to the right of the steering wheel just left of the radio screen.

I intend to do the same (add the dash switch). i will decide the actual location after I have my truck.

Definitely worth the $ for the upgrade. I just couldn't get past the color combo of the interiors un the XLT 's. I had to step down to XL and add wheels and cruise.

I neither agree or disagree. I wouldn't complain if my XL came with alloys. But I do agree that steelies are round and make the truck go.
