I’m looking at getting the Rokblokz mud flaps. Does anyone have these on a hot pepper red that can post a picture. Not sure if I want to go black with black lettering or black with red lettering.

I have them but only because I'm not a fan of any other versions of flaps currently on the market.

I've had issues with RB before. They sent me the wrong stuff and charged me for the return which was their fault - and I had to open everything up, lay it all out, and time/date stamp it. Basically they made me open something knowing it was the wrong package and just made the whole process that much harder.

Let's be honest - it's cheap plastic being sold for a premium price and the hardware is garbage that can easily be overtightened/stripped. Even their washers are plastic now.

That said, they probably are the best for the Maverick currently due to the drivers side rear wheel coverage and the amount you can adjust as far as poke/offset goes. I personally think it's a terrible company but other people seem to enjoy their products. I had them on a Subaru Crosstrek and the hardware rusted majorly in the first 2 months of winter.

I don't expect much from them this time around either. Honestly, if you are on the fence - get the cheaper Amazon brand OEM style ones. Just my opinion btw... feel free to ignore it.

I'd love for a company like RallyArmor to introduce some. Much more flexible/pliable and much better hardware. They do make them for the Bronco, so fingers crossed.

I have them on my Jeep as well, my experience has been good and they have aged well on the Jeep(2 years). No drilling required and how they are designed there's no risk in accumulating mud or moisture.

If you have the tools to cut them to fit, you can go by rokblokz measurements. I'd have no problem helping someone with the dimensions. I just don't trust my cutting ability lol. No table saw either. Buy some hardware for $5 and there ya go. Not a bad idea at all.

I tried to do it with the GatorBacks I had for the front wheels on a Tacoma but they rubbed no matter what I did with my tires/lift. Rears were great though. I'd rather pay that cost for a good plug and play option and know they are going to be worth it for years. Pliable rubber makes a huge difference in mudflaps IMO.

Definitely something to consider. Plug and play is worth it to a lot of folks. I just had a bad experience so I'm biased and not so optimistic this time. Hopefully I'm proven wrong ;)

I took mine off. The lack of flexibility and the size absolutely destroys ground clearance. Worst $150 I've spent on the truck.

That being said, I'm sure they're fine for folks not pushing their trucks in the mountains often.

The ones on my jeep are very flexible and easily removeable, it's why I got them. I will admit these for the Maverick are stiffer and not easy to remove, we'll see how it goes, the Maverick needs something, the tires sling alot on the body.

I would be interested in the Rokblokz dimensions. I can cut and have the tools.
Thanks

I should have measured before I installed them. If I wasn't so skeptical of the hardware I'd take them off and put them on my desk that has a Fiskars measuring/cutting mat.

If you can wait until I get the wheels off to give them their initial protective coating and do my brakes, I'll add it to the list that days work. Should be within a couple weeks.

Sounds good. I have a build date of 7/31 so I don't expect to take ownership till Sept..

I put some on my Mustang 3 years ago and thought they were pretty nice. Fast forward to the ones I just put on the Maverick: The flaps themselves are pretty much the same quality but the hardware is inferior. The clips that the screws go into are smaller, flimsy plastic vs. metal on the Mustang. Not sure if they changed across all vehicles or if they cheaped out on the Maverick.

I had a brand called "RekGen" on a previous Subaru Crosstrek that were much better than the current RB's I got for the Maverick as well. They had a more granulated feel to them and the hardware was all metal too. I checked with them first and they only make ones for the Bronco. They also look to be a bit cheaper now days too.

I guess if worse comes to worse, I can always buy my own hardware from any hardware store. I think the flaps themselves will hold up well enough but only time will tell. Montana winters and trails are not kind to mudflaps.

I also forgot to measure the RB's when I had the wheels off because my Maverick would not go into brake service mode... long story, not happy, no fix currently.

Maybe Rekgen will eventually have one for the Maverick by the time our hardware fails. :)
