Looks to me, if you look closely, that the back two bolts are actually in slots. So it doesn't even require removing them, just loosen them and slide it out after removing the front two. Looks like a nice design to me.

FYI, the OEM steel plate is also slotted at the rear attachment points.

The factory felt cover on AWD has a plastic air deflector. My understanding is thatvaid cooling of the PTU. This does not have it. Does the factory skid plate have it?

the fx4/tremor is aluminum, not steel. everything else is a plastic skid tray. do you know anything about these trucks?

Yes, the OEM steel FX4 plate has the vent scoop. The Tremor does not, because it (PTU) is liquid cooled.
