Does anyone have a reverse camera that is super Laggy and delayed when reversing? What I mean is when I'm in reverse and looking at the camera to get as close to an object that I can (garage door, trailer, anything else I need to get close to) I'm noticing that the screen kind of skips on me and acts like a video buffering from AOL dialup back in the day lol before I take it into Ford to have them tell me it's normal I just wanted to see if I'm the only one having laggy reverse camera or not? Mine will show me far away from an object and then skip and show me already too close. It's not fluid like it should be.

Yup, it's a well known issue. Not always laggy, but often enough, you just get used to it and expect that it will happen. Most likely happens due to the computer being too slow to handle the video feed.

Dang that lessens my hope that Ford will admit it's a problem. I was expecting it to be real time like every car I own and I almost smacked into my trailer because of it jumping frames.

Isn't that a safety issue?

If the dealer tells you it's normal then tell them to open a case with Ford as they need to know about it and come up with a fix.

Go to the NHTSA website and report the issue. If everyone who has the issue reports it then they will do something about it.

Mine has been fine.
1 year, 14,000 miles.

You can also set it to stay on when going forward under 5 mph.

Both my laptop and notebook do that laggy thing when there is to much running in the back ground, just saying.

Yes this is a good idea, I will report the issue if Ford tells me it's normal.

Yup, the Maverick's camera does that.

I've driven a 2007 Lexus RX350 with a better quality backup camera. It's like they are using old crappy leftover 15 year old webcam modules.

Hum, I don’t have that issue with mine. Maybe try the reset or software update if it’s not running current version. Don’t know your options but mine has the lux and B&O system which it think uses some different hardware if I’ve understood correctly, no idea. Good luck

I get this... Can't stand it. Every now and again, there is a pretty big delay between frames. Almost hit something. It makes me want tk upgrade to Sync 3 even more.
