Anybody had a chance to disable the speed limit?
At least the Ecoboost 2.0L Lariat FX4 sold to Brazil is limited to 175 km/h (approx 110 mph).
Local Ford says is due tire speed rating. It’s weird since the tires are “H” rating (max speed 130 mph).
There are some perfomance shops posting videos pushing EB Maverick beyond 130 mph keeping the stock ECU map.

Yes,the speedlimit is based on the speed rating on the tire.some tuners can change the limit but I don’t know which ones.with a long enough straight away you might get over 130 mph but I wouldn’t be in it😦

I was able to get my XLT Fx4 up to 105 but it was so light in the front end the contact with the road was pretty slim. Glad it was a calm day and no crosswind or that little unit may have drifted off the road. I have a set of Continental ContactPro which I believe are speed rated for 130 so I wasn't affraid of blowing a tire. The Fx4 also has a lower gear ratio so it can off-road. The tach at 105 was only about 3200 but it took about 4 miles to get from 99 to 105 and that was indicated on the analog dial not the digital readout. That stayed at 99

Actually it is only the 4K Tow Package that has a lower gear ratio. If you get the 2.0 AWD with FX4 (but not 4K Tow) it will have a 3.63 ratio, not 3.81.

I have pushed against the limiter a few times. 😎 109 is pretty much the limit. I have never had any issue with the handling, still feels very solid. It stays pretty perky right up to about 107 and then you can feel the limiter.

Have you actually done this? If so, post a screenshot or forscan change log so we can see what values to change.

I have researched it a bit and have seen many others comment that Forscan cannot change the speed limiter, such as F-150 Raptor owners. (Who also have a 109 mph limit.)

Nope but I thought it could be done that way. So I just assumed, shame on me.
