Replacing OEM struts and shocks...

There's nothing wrong with the struts and shocks, just don't like the ride, it bounces too much for my taste. My old F150 with Monroe gas charged shocks had a smoother ride and sticked to the road better. I am not looking for lowering/raising the truck, just trying to get a better ride.

Did anyone tried gas charged struts/shocks and if you did, was the any noticeable change in the ride?

So you need more dampening on rebound and on compression. More Mustang less Lincoln.

Sounds like you're looking for a performance strut and shock. I'd check with Bilstein.

Thx @fossil... That's pretty much what I am looking for...

Bilstein has nothing for the '23 Maverick, at least that's what the site's search engine states. I searched Monroe's website, should've started with that, and they don't make anything for the Maverick either. Maybe some of the shocks/struts may fit the Maverick based on their specifications (like on various length, mounting options, etc.), but that's beyond my knowledge about suspensions.

The chances are that the relatively new Maverick and its small number on the road does not warrant producing OEM replacement shocks/struts.

How many miles? I just test drove two F150's back to back and I feel my Maverick is smoother and handles better...

That's what I suspected and still don't want to lift the truck. Maybe just wait couple years and readdress this subject, if I still have the Maverick.

nor have I. But if I were serious it wouldn't stop me from looking for a softer spring rate from a spring maker like Eaton Detroit Spring or Springs Fast.

6 bags of softener salt between the wheel wells & tailgate really smooths out the ride I found, but then you are always hauling extra weight.

I'm a little confused with your intentions. So you're looking for replacement shocks and struts for a smoother ride?

I have a Lincoln MKZ that drives impeccable and my Maverick rides just as smooth or even better in some cases

I don't think you should be looking into purchasing shocks and struts, you should be looking into getting a Bentley Flying Spur with the air suspension.

Does the Ford Escape use same suspension as Maverick shocks struts is there a option there for after market ?

Monroe, KYB, Bilstein.... all options that I'm afraid don't really exist for the Mavericks yet. Every other F150, yes... just not our Mavericks.

Hell, I'm waiting for someone to just do a direct Tremor swap one day, but for the cost of OEM low supply struts it likely won't happen for quite some time.

I've never heard of Ridgeline struts. The ones I listed were basically OEM replacements, not like FOX's or Kings or the Mavericks equivalent wanna be's - Flatout (No hate intended towards Flatout btw). I don't think King or Fox will ever consider making anything for a Maverick either. But usually KYB, Monroe, and Bilstein will have offered something by now. For F150's it only take them a year or two. We are on year 3 (I think?) of the Maverick and still not much in the aftermarket suspension category sadly.

I've never heard of Ridgeline struts.

Oops, my fault, I should've been more detailed. I test drove a Honda Ridgeline a little over a week ego and liked the drive better than the Maverick has. It's a dilemma of should I order one? After going through with the Maverick order, I am somewhat gun shy ordering again, but we'll see. Most certainly won't wait a year for it....
