I wasn't very impressed with the Pirellis that came with my 23 Lariat 2.0. Not a lot of tread on them. Probably didn't help that for the first 15000 miles they ran at 50psi. (Thank you Ford dealer prep department and oil change department!) Now at a little over 26000 miles I just put on a set of Goodyear Assurance tires. Noticed the difference right away. A lot more comfortable ride and better grip.

I am waiting on delivery of 2025 hybrid XLT AWD. Shipped at end of December. Arriving late February. For tires I also plan to swap out the OEMs to improve all weather capability. Really like the Nokian Outpost APT. Have set on Toyota Highlander. Handle great in snow. Road noise increased some, but tread is more aggressive, so I expected it. Per specs, a 225/65 17 of the Nokian weighs 27 lbs, and has 13/32 tread depth. Not sure how that compares to stock.

These tires are as good as bald.
Thank you but I shall replace my tires soon as I have to drive in the Sierra
I've been driving my 2WD hybrid for this being the third winter in the Erie PA area. Yeah, we get snow and a lot of it. Still using the original factory tires and have never gotten stuck or even close to it. They are far from "as good as bald". They aren't the greatest but they get the job done if you know how to drive in snow with a FWD vehicle. AWD should be a breeze.

We live in northern lower michigan, the factory continentals have worked great in snow.
Erie PA here. Same deal. This is my 3rd snowy winter with the factory continentals on a FWD Hybrid, no issues at all getting around in the snow.

15,000 miles and never looked at the pressure display or checked the pressure with a gauge once....

Good to know. I have '24 FWD Hybrid and I was thinking about getting something better for the snow. I wont bother.

I've been researching tires for my new 24 Lariat FX4. Probably going to go with these Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail. Seem like the best compromise of on-road, snow, and light off road grip. If anyone here is running them, let me know what you think.

I have been really looking into the Coopers also, from what I’ve been reading they seem to check all the boxes. I’m currently running the Falken Wildpeak AT3W that came as the upgraded tires on my FX4. Really like them a lot and planned on buying another set but now they’re discontinued and the AT4W are too heavy and stiff for my needs. Seems like the Road + Trail will be a good replacement.

I ordered the Coopers from Discount today. Should be here Friday. I'll report back after
