Ok. So this evening I start up Maverick hybrid xlt, and the dashboard light was dark. Couldn’t even see how fast I was driving. Did a search on here and others have had same problem. Anyway, it was a fuse. Fuse 22, which needed to be taken out and put back in. So I did that, and the dashboard is fine now. But I didn’t disconnect the battery in doing so. I had done fuses before and didn’t think it was a big deal. A few little sparks, and now the check engine light is on. I’ll go tomorrow to the dealer and have them check into it. Heck, I only got it Aug 11. There shouldn’t be a fuse problem. Hopefully they won’t charge. This should be under warranty? Just a fuse issue I hope.
