I believe the hyper flash on the dash is generated to give you an indication that you have a burent out bulb (due to low or no resistance)……when in reality the bulb is still functioning (led only)
I wonder if it will create problems in the future. Otherwise, the light blinks normally on the outside and when not blinking amber, its another DRL, above the XLT headlight DLR.

So these do not light white as daytime driving lights?
No. The Drl on lower trims is the actual headlights. The turn signal bulbs comes on at reduced power when you turn the park lights on and then flashes brighter when blinking

Installed some VLEDS V6 4257 extreme switchbacks, the white switchback doesn’t function on these, the second you plug it in I hear a click like a relay switching and it shuts down parking lights to both sides even if you have the stock filament bulb left in and on the other side. Not sure if I got a bad set or if the car is smart enough to detect the bulb even with the inline resistor installed. Everything else functions correctly no hyper flash turn signals/hazards are a bright amber. Will update after contacting VLEDS but I would hold off on these if anyone is considering the switchbacks for your MAV.

So I don't have a Maverick yet, but those amber bulbs reflecting off the front blinkers or orange/amber even when off bothers me aesthetically. Figured I'd share this should be an option to fix that issue.

1) LED Option:

2) Chrome bulb option:

The proper size are the first ones, as factory are 4257NA, but you should be able to modify 3157s to fit in 4257.

I think this will answer your question and help a lot of other people find bulbs easier:

7443 and 7444 are interchangeable with 4257, and will fit with no modifications. I just popped in some 7443 amber LED bulbs. They fit right in, and this was the result. No more ugly amber glare from the front signals when off, but great amber color when on!

*Disclaimer: this will trigger the hyperflash warning inside the cabin unless you a.) disable front bulb outage detection in ForScan or b.) get the expensive LED bulbs that have built-in resistors (LasFit, etc.).
