As stated before..
Heat is your friend.. BUT Just a little heat!!
Also.. DO NOT USE A RAZOR!! 😨
Cutting into the thin paint worst thing to do!!

Your decal looks like "thin vinyl sheet" that will require care when trying to start pulling up the first corner...
Mine was a "raised vinyl blob" which was easier to pull and liftoff...

Every vehicle I own the decals come off. They not paying me to advertise.
I don't mind the plate frames so much. At least they serve a purpose and can easily be removed.

Cheap too.👍

Warning: Do not use an angle grinder. It may scuff the clear coat a little.

Any suggestions on removing the dealer decal without messing up the paint?
Thanks!

Little bit of heat, plastic razor blade and WD-40. Works like a charm 😉

This is my dealership maker. It’s been in the 90’s and the tail ends been sticking out in it. My fingernails took the black off real easy, then I used some good old 70% isoproply Alcohol to rub off the remaining glue.
just be careful getting rid of the letters. Sitting in the 90 degrees, they were pretty hot.

hair dryer and a plastic panel tool - the kind with an edge designed to wiggle underneath. That's if just picking it off with your finger nails doesn't work. Don't use a razor unless nothing else works and be prepared to shave off your paint which is thin.

Get it off soon - the longer they sit the harder they set. My FX4 stickers came off as soon as I got home and peeled off with no trouble at all.

I used my good old fingernail, and a little help from goo gone and WD40. Follow up with a little elbow grease and a good coat of wax.

When I buy a new vehicle I politely tell my salesman that I don’t want any dealer stickers on my vehicle. On the 22 Mav I bought before my current one, they had already put a sticker on the truck and it was already starting to peel. It was an easy call to tell them to remove it.

I bought a Rav 4 in 1995, and the dealer forgot to add the sticker. When I went for my next car (2005) I asked for them not to put one on and they obliged. . In 2015 I asked again and they said OK. Three different dealers and no problems (they did give me the license plate holder with their name/logo, but I didn;t mind that).
Advice: take it back to dealer (they're used to removing them, from trade-ins ). And if they 'hem N haw', ask for License plate holder !!!
