very god info. these usually work just fine.USB with music doesn't work that way, unfortunately. The system reads the file contents and plays and indexes the individual files.
CD players with uSB are for computers to use as a device with drivers. The Maverick does not interface that way.
Your best bet would be to get an FM transmitter with 3.5mm audio plug input and run the headphone/audio output of the cd player into the input of the transmitter, which will then transmit the music on an FM channel that you tune the radio to. (Apparently, there are some that use Bluetooth instead of FM radio).
