Recommend a tire for me!

I installed Michelin Cross Climate on my '24 Hybrid XL after having one of the OEM Continentals get sliced open by a piece of metal on the interstate. I have installed them on all my past latest vehicles, (SUV's) and nerer regretted the purchase. They are great in rain, snow and limited ice.
I wouldn't have been sad about that. the OEM Continentals are the worst. Just waiting for a minor excuse to replace myself that are awful

I recently put Nokian Remedy WRG5 on my 23 Hybrid. Stock 225 65 R17 size replacing the factory tires.

I have not had them on that long but I have had a chance to drive in snow a few times. They performed very well. On pavement they are smooth and quite. The weather got cold when I put them on so I can not compare if my gas mileage has changed any.

Currently have FX4 with Scorpions. Interested where this goes. Dont want a heavy noisy tire that takes away the acceleration of my Mav.

Nitto Nomad Grappler. Light, quiet, very good handling, very good in snow and rain. They have been great off road and on fire trails. I could not be happier with them.

I'm curious about this too. Thinking of swapping the Pirellis now while they're still new. I'm mostly daily city driving with a few trips on two tracks/dirt etc. I've narrowed it down to Crossclimate2 (had on my Mazda CX5 and were awesome), Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail, and Nokian Outpost nAT. I love the Falken AT4w but it weighs 40 pounds. Obviously in Michigan snow traction is important.

I’ve poked at numerous threads, read through oodles of comments, and can’t make a solid decision on where to head next.

My current situation: 14 month old maverick with factory pirellis (fx4 pkg). They’ve been ok, but not great. I’ve slid around in heavy snow, and I’ve gotten semi stuck in some loose sandy shoulders on roads. I do a decent amount of trail running, camping, etc that takes me off paved roads a few times a month, but not crazy off-roading.

Use case: live in Pittsburgh pa, it’s a work truck (carpentry) and mostly stays on city streets for 90% of this. My hobbies take me on brief stints of rougher stuff, but never more than a few miles at a time

BUT, we have a small cabin in Maine. So thrown in the mix are long highway miles followed by some rural gravel/dirt roads, and heavy snows/ice in winter.

Swap winter specific tires and call it good enough for winter? Do some wildpeaks or similar knobby for better all year? Share your wisdom internet gurus!
Snow tires? At this time I'm wearing Bilzzaks that I'm very happy with. I bought some spare steelies for them that do well in the snow/ ice. Got them on sale at Costco. Going to Wisconsin (not that far) tomorrow and I feel better about it. Not sure what I'll get when the stockers wear out.

I'll throw in my Toyo AT3 recommendation. Been very happy in snow and "off-road" forest service roads. Have hundreds of miles on mine in those conditions and they've held up well.
I have these Toyo's also, and am happy with their performance, including in snow. I've heard a lot good about those Wildpeak AT's, too, but haven't any experience.

Blizzaks- I was surprised how they ride like all seasons in the dry. I love the Cross Climates on our CR-V going 80k miles on the tires. Great all weather tires but not so good on icy roads. I was hating them for the noise, but I think it’s the Honda. The Maverick is amazingly quieter in comparison. I live in Maine if you’re driving to your cabin in a storm and icy roads, get the Bridgestones

Tirerack STILL has the 235/65-17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W on closeout. $156/ea last I looked, I bought a set in August at $162/ea.
