Ok, that makes sense. I didn't think of at the time. Three or four weeks ago my camera froze. I noticed while driving home I had to reset my clock three times before it stayed set correctly. hmm...

there's nothing official yet, but from what it sounds like on the latest Long McArther Ford channel video that some good news about it could be as soon as next week.

Does anyone know how long the recall on Maverick trucks is going to be in affect or better, when is Ford going to correct the issue with the back up camera ??
Is Ford going to compensate Maverick owners?

My time hasn't been thrown off and I've had a couple camera freezes. I've had several occasions where the head unit freezes without the camera active. Everything stops, audio goes silent, ect... Last camera freeze I had a message in the upper left that read "Indexing Nexus"
Guys, I'm convinced it's not the camera.
PWR + FF buttons used many times.

Mine freezes everytime I'm in reverse. Gotta love it.

I really should not do this... I may be bringing on the freeze.... None in 29 months. Of course I have been changing the oil per the monitor. That may be the answer!!!!!

So according to the video Ford may or may not discount the 2024's because of the camera/ infotainment debacle. That would lower the value of all previously sold 24s as well. I see a class action lawsuit if so or a credit to all of those who own one. I've noticed that the trade in value has dropped quite a bit recently. I got a quote for trade in at 2 Ford dealers and it was about 9% to 20% below what I paid. That is with super low mileage and 9 months ownership. Also looked other places. Hopefully, when this shit is fixed it recovers.

My 23 truck has the recall. Heard zitch from dealer or Ford. Meanwhile the camera working fine. I just try not hit potholes to not lose any electrons and protons.

I think to simplify the explanation of the problem. They are referring to it "as the Camera".
The image that the "Camera" records goes through a few other components/programs, before YOU SEE it on the Info screen.
It's in between the Camera and Screen..
