I have a B&O system and I have done the doors and tweeters. Now I'm looking for a rear speakers, any thoughts
Not sure what your budget is, but I have used Morel for many years. Incredible detail with them. Focal also makes a really smooth sounding speaker, although it may be a little bright for some.

bit dissapointed in Fords premium sound systems as both my Maverick and Mach E B&O systems are lacking. My Subaru Forester had H/K system with the same count of speakers and without a sub and put the B&O system to shame. You can do better Ford. My premium 08 GT500 kicked but and it had no sub.

I used to care about great sound in the vehicle but now that I have hearing aids that sound like tinny speakers I'm saving my money.....

How would you describe changing out the speakers? Easy straightforward or fairly frustrating?
Pretty simple and straightforward, especially if you use the Metra wiring harness adapters. So you don't have to cut orspluce any factory wiring.

Just put CT Sounds bio series coaxial speakers in the front doors and pillars. Disappointed in Fords design for the pillar speaker covers and choice of speaker size. A redesign with a 4x6 would be nice or even redesign the rear doors to hold a 5.25 or 6.5. That being said the front sounds great but the rear not as much. I really need to get involved with the forscan program i guess to make the cool changes others have found. BTW did anyone else have issues with the pillar speaker covers breaking at the upper rear clip? Both sides of mine are now hot glued back together.

I didn't notice much of a difference after swapping the rears. Pretty underwhelming considering how much effort (and scratches on my hands) it took to remove all those panels. The fronts, on the other hand, made a night-and-day difference.

The rear pillar trim's clips sit in a channel with an opening. You need to push the panel upward from the bottom with a fair amount of force to release the clips without breaking them. Once you're aligned correctly, it just slides out with little resistance.

Lets see if this works.

I did the rears in addition to the fronts with Morel. The rears aren't as important so the entry level Maximo set worked fine and sounds good. They just fit. you may have to put a dent in the hole where the magnet goes as it just fits.

I will say, the biggest upgrade you can do is a real subwoofer and sound deadening. Some guys here have had luck with the under-seat ones. I did a box, kicker key amp, and a 10" JL.

Also, contrary to what most people say, after upgrading all the speakers, the system sounds best with the surround "ON". To me, it's the only way the built in DSP works correctly. When listening in stereo the center channel is still active and to me makes the system sound like muddy mono.
