Rear bumper replacement

2026 Ford maverick (LOBO)
Rear bumper got into a fender bender & needs to be replaced. According to the vin number the dealer brought me the wrong bumper. The white bumper is what came with it, black bumper is what the dealer brought me. On the back of the original bumper Part# SZ6B17D781AW.
Anyone know what's the part# for their lobo rear bumper cover or the part# that the dealer needs to order it?

you will have the part number, you also have to get it painted space white. They did not order the part number you have listed. Take your original bumper into the dealer- "I need one of these"

The Ford part# for the Lobo rear bumper is linked to the standard bumper. Every time you order the “Lobo” back bumper you will receive the “stock” one.

How do I know this? Because my frustrated body shop told me. Body Shop eventually located a pristine Lobo rear bumper in a Texan junkyard - I’m in Arizona btw.

The Lobo bumper has its own part#. The diagram on the Ford site shows a Lobo bumper. But order that Lobo bumper Part# and you will get a standard non-Lobo bumper.

I do not understand how the Ford Inventory Control System (FICS) works - but I’m surprised they have not fixed this bug since I was ordering (multiple times) over a year ago.

The Lobo bumper is a custom design manufactured in Mexico btw…

Please understand, dearest Chops, that Ford has well over 10 million part numbers. Mistakes are bound to happen. Only a relatively few Lobo rear bumpers have been ordered since its introduction. Maybe in another year or two the appropriate Ford employee will correct the boo boo.

In the meantime, Lobo owners should be careful backing up!

SZ6Z17K835BA should be it - "Design B" and it's listed as original equipment on 2025+ only.

Ford should rethink their parts website if their own dealers can't navigate it. At minimum, they need more accurate product images.

Look at the picture - it is the standard bumper. I think the only place to find a Lobo rear bumper is at the assembly plant or the supplier. Or a junkyard

You gotta be kidding, the Lobo is going into its 3rd year of production but the parts manual is so bad, the dealership can't figure out how to order the specific rear bumper
