First of all thank you to the Administration for allowing me in.
I recently bought the 2026 Lobo. I do not like the wheels, solid black. So I have chosen a great looking replacement and my concerns are the Backspacing. I read it's 35mm to 40mm, +/- .5mm somewhat. Have any of you Lobo owners done the Rim switch and are these dimensions correct? Or, have you a preference? I have had an issue before where the Backspacing was wrong and I ended up rubbing excessively the fenders.
I intend to do a full Quality Inspection of each and every Rim, I'm a retired Tool, Die and Mold Maker, so being that I kept my most precise instruments, "Gage Blocks, .00005" Dial Test Indicator, Parallels, etc. So being I have a repour with America's Tire, I am hoping they'll allow me to sit off in their showroom where I can do my layout. I do know the temperature is close to 68.8 degrees. I also will request if I can do an inspection on the first stock Rim they pull, just for comparison of the Backspacing. I'm so impressed by this "Wolf in Sheep's clothing", I'll have more questions in the near future. The image is of a Lobo like mine, with the Rims I intend to buy.

Thank you, Lobo Scott.

That image is of a 2022-24 standard Maverick. The logo on the windshield just makes it a "wannabe" Lobo. ;)

Why is is a joke to you? All I'm asking is for confirmation. I once had an Issue with another Truck and they sent wheels with the wrong Backspacing. You do understand what Backspacing is?

Dunno what @Johnkn had in mind, but I find it a bit odd how you're hoping that America's Tire will let you sit in the corner with precise measuring instruments, inspecting each wheel.

As I'm sure you're aware, products are built to a certain tolerance and each additional zero is exponentially more expensive. I can tell you that wheels are probably not cast or forged to a 0.00005" tolerance. Only way that you might get that close is if the wheels were CNC'ed from a solid billet.

I'd be more concerned with whether or not the tire techs remember to oppose the heavy part of the wheel with the heavy part of the tire. One time I got tires, they didn't. I kid you not, one wheel had like 6 ounces of weights stacked. I ended up dismounting that tire myself, rotating it 180 degrees, and remounting it. And what do you know, it balanced with half an ounce of weight.

Your first post here

I understand what offset and backspacing is, by your post you do not.. "I read (backspacing) it's 35mm to 40mm, +/- .5mm somewhat.

This make me LOL "I intend to do a full Quality Inspection of each and every Rim"

A dial indicator and blocks, quite impressive. Not needed in measuring the wheel. I kept my most precise instruments, "Gage Blocks, .00005" Dial Test Indicator, Parallels, etc.

This really makes me LOL. Do your "layout"? What exactly are you 'Laying out"?
. LOL Temp = 68.8*? What if the temp creeps up to 68.9? "So being I have a repour with America's Tire, I am hoping they'll allow me to sit off in their showroom where I can do my layout. I do know the temperature is close to 68.8 degrees"

Again with inspecting wheels stock wheels ? "I also will request if I can do an inspection on the first stock Rim they pull"

Good Luck.... ;)

The fact that you're responding to the joke comment, rather than the what is the wheel spec question makes me think you're not here looking for information, you're just here to stir the pot.

Again, if you're changing from the LOBO 7.5" width, then the offset/backspacing may come into play.
