Radio stays on forever?

If you manually push the radio button with no keys in the ignition on a XL hybrid how long should the radio stay on for?

Saw something in the owners manual about 30 minutes while in accessory so let it run for 40 minutes with no keys and doors locked before manually intervening...

if anyone stumbles across this, found it in sync 3 section of the manual.

Note: You can switch the system on and
use it for up to an hour without switching
the ignition on.

Note: You can use the system after you
switch the ignition off for up to 10 minutes
or until you open a door.

I did this by mistake. Turned the radio back on after pulling out keys and got out and closed door and locked it and walked away thinking that it would shut off when I locked it with the Fob. Returned to car after shopping and could hear voices coming from inside.

Ya this seems so strange.
I was setting up Android Auto on the infotainment system and then realized I didn't have the key with me and it had power and everything was working with the key off.
But I guess this is the high tech world we live in, I must adapt.
