I have tried everything to get the seatbelt warning to go off automatically but it never does. I tried seeing if there was a software update but it says no updates are available. I have seen lots of people complain about this but not sure if they ever got it fixed.

After the 2022s they changed something in the software. I don't think I've seen a fix to get rid of that.

Ford expects you to put the seatbelt on.

I have found an issue where someone will move from the middle rear to a side seat and the truck will keep the screen on due to the middle belt being unlatched. But I found it does eventually go away.

Which warning? On my XL, there are two. A red light that comes on if an occupant isn't buckled in. And a nag box in the center of the instrument cluster display showing various seat positions and seat belt status.

There is a procedure to disable the chime from dinging on a per-seat basis. But AFAIK, there is no longer a way to permanently get rid of the nag displays in the instrument cluster.

I have a 22 XL and turned the chime off but the screen pic goes away with hitting the ok button or automatically after about 20 seconds. Don't know how else to help but that's how mine works.

It may be after I start driving. I usually turn it off right away so I can put it in slippery mode.

Easiest solution I found was to fasten all of the seat belts in the vehicle. If you leave them all fastened and just put your seatbelt on as the driver the seat belt screen goes off immediately...

That doesn't work in my '23 XL Hybrid. The nag screen still shows up on the instrument cluster display and I have to hit the friggin' OK button to get rid of the nag, so I can change the drive mode to Slippery.

Way too many annoying nag screens & warnings in this vehicle, which detract from the enjoyment of driving it.

So I just buckle my belt and by the time I back out of garage or parking space the screen is gone. I don’t change modes but if I did it would probably have to wait until I’m backed out or driving just a bit. The screen is gone usually within maybe 10 seconds or so.

there is a seat belt box in the menus that I have unchecked. Is yours?

Not sure what you're referring to. What menus?

And I always put on my seatbelt - but not until after I drive down/up my private gravel road, get out & check the mail and before getting on public roads.

All you have to do is hit the mode button 3 times to get into slippery mode after you start the truck. Works even if the nag screen is there.

The menu on my steering wheel has a seat belt box that can be unchecked. Not sure of the effect. Yeah once seatbelt is fastened the nag screen goes away pretty quick but like the above post says you can click to different modes even with screen up. I just really never mess with the various modes.
