Hum with ignition off, my radio turns off soon as driver door opens. If I don’t open the door it will continue playing around 15 minutes? then turns itself off
Every car I've owned since 1997, mostly all Ford products have done this. My 2011 Ranger with keyed ignition did shut off when the key was turned to the off position. Stopped as soon as the door release handle was pulled. Sorry if that is annoying, but wow that's not a really bad thing to deal with. Turn radio off first, or open door sooner. I think it's something you'll get used to.

Has the truck always done that?
In my case, when shut down, the radio will keep playing unless power off is pressed or the door is opened.
A soft reset might help, if you want to try that, but it obviously won't work if it's a Lobo feature...
  1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on.
  2. Press and hold the radio power button/volume dial and the Seek button (>>) simultaneously.
  3. Hold them for about 5–10 seconds until the Ford logo appears on the screen.
If that doesn't work, the power button will, or maybe a dealer conversation if no one with a 26 Lobo replies...
Yep it has been doing this since I bought it in February, My wife even asked why the radio was still playing after the truck was off and we would be getting out.

The point I am making is that the radio does NOT turn off when opening the door, it continues to play after door is open. If it shut off as soon as you open the door like GM product then I would not have an issue.

James,
I have a theory And I can't get to a dealer until Monday.
Can you please try something for me?
After shutting your truck off and opening your door can you see if your window still operates along with your radio being on.
Thank you in advance.

I completely misunderstood your original post. I thought it stopped when the door opened. Sounds like a warranty issue. And I agree that would annoy me also. You shouldn't have to go through extra steps to get the radio to STOP playing after you turn the truck off and leave the vehicle.

OK I misunderstood as well. Mine always shut off as soon as the door opened. That's weird!
