You still need to make sure the dealer you're ordering from has allocations for the model you want. Especially if it's a hybrid or XL or both.

XL has a backlog that likely will run until the end of the model year. Odds of getting one are better with XLT or Lariat.

They haven't totally closed ordering like they did for the 2022/2034 model years. As Waterick & Gray Goose stated above, dealership allocations play a key role. As does finding dealership personnel that can enter an order correctly and ongoing trim-level/option constraints.

Adding the 3rd shift has really helped increase the factory's yearly production (still shared with the Bronco Sport). There's still more demand than they can produce month-to-month, which leads to longer than normal order-to-delivery times.

The journey to getting a Maverick optioned exactly the way you want at a fair price still has many potential potholes.

@axl_rose it might be worthwhile to order from Granger Ford and either take a road trip home from IA or have your order shipped to you.
