What price were you quoted for your Maverick today?
Please include EB or Hybrid, trim, miles on vehicle and who gave you today's offer!
It'll be fun to watch these offers drop ,or not, as production increases and Ford dealers are nudged towards MSRP pricing with the new allocation formula!

How will the new allocation formula drive MSRP pricing??

@KevCuRaoi the OP is completely clueless. He can’t seem to understand that getting a Maverick that you ordered at MSRP is not the same thing as walking into a dealership and buying a stock one at MSRP.

I guess his repeated nonsense posts in other threads about this same topic were not enough. He’s now decided to create his own thread.

@Finnster give it up dude. You don’t understand any of this. Find a new hobby.

Thank you for the constructive criticism!
I believe you are associated with a dealer, correct? Please take a moment and explain to the group what has changed in the last month in how dealer's are now earning allocations for Mavericks. I think the slang term @fordvideoguy calls it is "burn and turn". In other words, Clue me in!

Yeah I’m sure “flippers” are going to share. There are some not so much for profit but for necessity because of life events and don’t wanna a dealer to screw people with ADM plus just a little for their trouble taking delivery.
I suppose you will probably figure this out on your own.. Good luck!!

MSRP absolutely is MSRP, well, at least until you go to close your deal with a shady delear and he explains that the MSRP doesn't inclued his dealer fee, his document fee, and his market adjustment because it is a hot model. He may then say, "Oh, I also forgot to check the "protection date" box, sorry". That is why you should demand to see your contract soon after you order is entered, that is if your dealer neglects to offer it to you at that time.
I am not an expert, I'm just repeating what I have learned here and on youtube. I am learning as much as I can, so that I don't get screwed on my 23 order. 12 months is too long to wait to find out your dealer is unethical!
If I missed anything important, please weigh-in Guys.

I didn't realize my title might be inflammatory to some! (insert "A Fish Called Wanda Apology".
It doesn't offend me at all!
The fact is that I flipped my 2019 Grand Caravan in March, and cleared 5k. I didn't mean to flip it but I needed the $5,000 to satisfy my greed, and help me afford the new Maverick! And really, that 2019 Grand Caravan with 24,000 miles wasn't all that grand in the first place! It was practically begging to be flipped!

Well MSRP NEVER includes typical dealer fees and document fees. The BS market adjustment fee is a whole different kettle of fish.

I haven't read the entire thread so I apologize if I answered something already said, I'm going to help answer this post I'm tagged in.

Dealers will earn allocations based on sales compared to the dealers in their Region, so the more they sell the more they earn. They get extra allocations at the end of the month for having low inventory in stock (that would include sold custom orders that haven't delivered yet). Smart dealers will try to sell a custom order that someone doesn't take (one that becomes a stock) quickly if it arrives towards the end of the month. With that said Maverick are still turning (selling) quickly at $5-7.5k over MSRP. We tend to see what they are going for at auctions and eBay for our pricing. But we evaluate our inventory every week and reprice according to sales data and inventory amounts. Hope this helps.

My question to you is, have you personally ordered a Maverick?

If you have, please let US know what your own PERSONAL experience is, please. If you have, tell us what how your process was and how YOUR dealer treated you.

That is all...for now.
