I bought the same ones and it did the same thing, however you just needed to push in a little firmer and you would hear the click and see that it seats well. A nice upgrade for $350. You will also need to purchase some 7443 LED Bulbs to fit these assemblies if you want the Brake and Reverse Lights LED since these come with supplied halogens (except the strip and side marker which are standard LED's).

I'm definitely not a fan of smoked lighting. You may think they're cool, but they reduce the total amount of light emitted significantly. Just search for the many stories of Mavs getting written off because they were rear-ended by the driver in behind not paying attention and you'll start to get it. You want the brightest lights that you can get, not the prettiest. Follow a Volvo and see how bright lights work. I just wish that somebody would make painfully-bright LEDs for the Mav that didn't burn out, didn't melt the lens plastic with poor cooling design and didn't hyperflash because the manufacturer can't be bothered to match the correct resistance for the truck's light-monitoring facility.
