I've been looking for a good bed cover, and some of the ones I'm seeing say that it won't fit a Maverick with "utility rails." My truck is a Lariat and has the rails depicted in the picture already installed. Do you guys think this is what they're talking about? Has anyone installed a bed cover with these rails and had issues or success?

My BakFlip MX4 fits fine. You may need to look at what clamps they supply.

Very helpful...I haven't used that sliding mount on the rail, but I'm assuming you could easily just slide it out of the way if you need a little more clearance from the clamps. Thanks!

I have the slides, divider, swing out tool box and folding tonneau without issues.
I believe the bed rails mentioned are the type that mount on top of the bed sides.

Amazon supplied both with no issues mounted on my '25 Lariat hybrid AWD with the same rails. All tools were included as well. A hard cover would not roll past my roll bar. So I went with soft.

Somewhat of an aside; what is the purpose of the rubber plugs in the bedside that get obstructed by these rails? if they are for drain tubes, I could see that being a conflict, but midway along the bed seems like a weird place to drain into.

Ah OK. I wouldn’t think anyone would make something that wouldn’t work with those default rails that various trims come with. Thanks !
