Should I be concerned that every time I park the maverick I have quite a bit of water dripping from the muffler.
Could this be an internal leak?
Another concern is that the muffler is going to rust in no time.
Thank you.

Water is a byproduct of combustion. Modern automotive exhausts are typically some grade of stainless steel to minimize rust becoming for a handful of years+.

Normal, especially for a hybrid.
If there are a lot of short trips you don't get your engine warm enough to evaporate condensation in the exhaust system.
As far as the rusting From the Inside Out. OnlyTime Will Tell.???

So we obviously have an interesting thing going on with the Maverick and this "water dripping from the muffler weep hole". Well, I don't know about you folks but I was getting some real black yuck carbon water leaking from that hole all over my garage floor....What is the deal with that?

So now that I installed a straight pipe system without the muffler, that black carbon water ridiculousness is getting blown out all over my garage now every time she's idling in the garage....no bueno at all.....anyone else dealing with this mess?

Cause seems Self Inflicting imo. As already stated, it's Always been a natural byproduct of combustion, pick your poison on where you want it to exit.
