I have never had a set of floor mats that covered as much as the Tuxmat. And fit so neatly. NO comparison to Weathertech for instance. Much nicer looking and MUCH easier to clean that some oem full coverage and Weathertech type mats I have used over the years.
If I had read this forum a mere 2 weeks ago I would have though Tuxmat lovers were nuts! I used to be a WeatherTech groupie...not after what I saw in my brother-in-law's Genesis. I couldn't believe the coverage! I ordered them immediately!! I can't wait till they get here!!!

wonder if there will be any black friday deals coming up for some of these mats. My truck is scheduled to be built 12/18 and will definitely need some mats.

I was the same way before buying them lol. They really do offer the best coverage/material. I was a Husky fanboi before I got the TuxMats and before that it was WeatherTech.

I will agree with one user the only real improvement would be raising them at the clips, but they are sealed around the edges of those plastic retainers. It's just the clip portion itself that is not. So unless you are putting your foot directly over that clip, you shouldn't have an issue. It would be great to see TuxMat go one step above and implement that raised clip like the Husky's have.

Then maybe you could pour a cup of water over it and the floor wouldn't get wet... 🤷‍♂️
Shots fired.

I changed to the Tuxmats from OEM All weather, I had moved from an Eco to a Hybrid so the backs didn't fit anyway. Waaaaaay easier to clean the Tuxmats to look like new, and way less dirt finds there way to carpeting. Still a little vacuuming when I pull them, but that is only because I am OCD, nothing at all significant. Sold the OEM for like $10 over what it cost me to ship, just wanted to get rid of them at that point. Would of bought 3DMAX but they screwed up on my order, so I bailed.

Curious as to why the "quality" rating put Maxpider in last? I bought a set for my sons Mav he's had since March and I have a set and have no issues with them, I did opt for them over the "Official" because of the better coverage(I am a Ford tech and could have purchased the "Official" set for $130 my employee price but felt the design and the look of the material the 3D have is more appealing than the standard old rubber mats). Was it rated last because, well, someone has to be last, or are there reported quality issues I should be aware of?

I am not sure why he ranked OEM above those. Mine came with similar ones from Amazon that has 7 different names for the same mat set, basically a little more coverage than OEM. These are fine for me as I am not tracking in a not of dirt and keep my feet on the mat.

If the TuxMats are more flexible I could see that as an advantage for the rear since the rubber ones can be hard to remove when cleaning. I don't need the extra coverage, but what would get me to consider buying a set is if the front TuxMats covered the door sill plastic to prevent scratching.

Thanks for the thread and generation of discussion on this issue. I decided on Trumax for my truck. We are wet, really wet here on the Oregon coast and I just didn't want to deal with wet carpet and condensation on the windows all winter.

I also have Tuxmat for my hybrid. Best floor mats I have ever owned. I just spray them down with my ONR spray and they look brand new. They are expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

That's a great price on the nilight. I got a different amazon brand and paid $68 just for the rear mats. That was the best price/review option I could find at the time. For $98 I'd have gotten the full set. And the logo isn't ridiculous on this one.

I was really impressed with the fit on the Smartliner brand I bought, but I suspect they all use the same measurements. They have different tread patterns, but I doubt all these knockoff companies are doing their own measurements.

$19 at Sam's Club this summer. Generic front and rear. They are oversized, but scored for trimming. Works fine.

Bought Sam's club generic Weather tech for around 20 bucks. Not as nice looking but does the job.
Same here. I got the tan. Sort of matches my Lariat Lux seat colors.
These things are HEAVY, but easy to trim to fit. You should see the dirt and grit that mine has captured already.
