Any hybrid folks pull a small boat and trailer?
The ramp I would be using is on salt water and if the tide is out the ramp can be very slippery.
12 foot boat.
Would slippery mode be best or low??

Don't have my hybrid yet. But I would l think that with the ECVT for that short a distance, it may not matter much. A little wheel spin should dry the area under the tire and away you go. Don't think slippery would allow the wheel to spin if needed. The front end weight and the weight of the battery should also help traction of the front drive compensating somewhat for the lift tendency of tongue weight in the front end. The drive wheels being on the front may even help keep the drive wheels in the less slippery part of the ramp. All this assumes it's not a monster boat.

Mode will not matter.
You probably want to leave traction control on and just drive normally.
L is just for slowing you down. Does nothing differently for making it go.

I will agree with GPSMan. Definitely leave traction control on. I would try Slippery Mode first, but experiment with other modes. I believe that the slippery mode was designed to improve traction and control in winter conditions, snow and ice covered roads, probably similar to a wet moss covered boat ramp.
"L' mode in the hybrid Ecvt driveline is nothing at all like 'L' in a conventional automatic transmission. When used in the hybrid, it provides maximum regenerative braking and it will be bring the truck from 30mph to walking speed in a very short distance, before using the brake pedal.

Hybrid rated for 2000 lbs towing.your boat should weigh way less.you should be fine.

Wet ramps and Front wheel drive or just real wheel drive. If a gradual slope you should be fine. Steep or gravel I recommend not to do it. Maybe if like a small jon boat style you possibly can.The launching isn't the problem, it's the loading pulling it out part. I carry a cable with me when I haul my bass boat in my 4x4 Silverado. I have helped many of you up the ramps with big and small boats. If you have the help maybe have a friend follow you in another rig with rope just in case for your trial launch. Dont even unhook the boat. Just back in to where you'll be at recovery and pull back out. Preferably a wet ramp so you get real info. And if you are new to backing up, please practice at a empty boat ramp.

You should not have any problem. I would avoid steep gravel ramps but other than that the Maverick Hybrid will handle with ease. Our Bass boat weights 1600 lbs and it handled it easily!

Be real soft on the go pedal. Instant electric torque can make wheels slip.
