I spoke to my dealer last week, he said now it’s a “chip hold” so who the hell knows at this point.

Maybe they can replace the recalled airbags before it’s on the train. (Doubt it.)

It's time to join the therapy group in this thread. Ford got my hopes up with the "start" of production on 8-16. The rebill status in the upper left of my window sticker changed to normal for a few days and possibly made it through the chassis line before halting and changing back to rebill. None of the modules have popped.

I join the masses of scheduled orders wondering why Ford starts production of a vehicle that does not have all the necessary components ready to assemble. My mid April scheduling notification for a 5-30 was the first of 6-6, 7-25, 8-8 and 8-16 false starts.

The novelty of being notified should have worn off a long time ago. It's easy to see why so many people are frustrated with the process.

Since I am a highly organized person it's hard to understand how things operate at Hermosillo.
Right there with you. I have been in production since 8/10. Window sticker has changed to 8/18 and of course the 4-Rebill on the sticker as well. I have no idea where they are with the build but modules have not populated. Wait wait and wait more.

Any idea what the rebill status is? Mine went into production on the 11th and then went back to order confirmed status on the 16th and then went back into production on the 19th but with an updated window sticker that had the 4-rebill attached to the top of it, I searched around and asked, but no one seems to know what this rebill on the window sticker is…. Got a call from my dealer yesterday saying that my maverick was in production though so I don’t know what’s really going on other than being a little confused at the moment

My truck has been "in production" since 7/4. It was last slated to be completed between 8/8-8/18. Today it is still "in production"
I’m assuming your modules have popped?

The BCM for sure. I never went back to see if the PCM was alive too. But for sure it has been to and from the body shop. So I am sure it is fully built. It is just missing a chip. Mine is an XLT Lux pack. I know it has been constrained, and I am in the biz, so I get it. I am just mystified that they keep missing time targets so badly.

Righhhht, yea it’s wild out there for sure! I hope yours gets finished up and shipped soon. I think this is the hardest part of all the waiting! Mine is a base XL, and they all popped the day it was considered “produced” but it’s been there since. No indication of a “chip hold” at the moment.

Wondering if this is why some of us have had the rebill put on our window stickers?

I saw that earlier. It seems like everything is getting delayed. Problems at every turn. I am amazed Ford keeps scheduling trucks to be built but can't get the ones out they are working on now. There are a few topics on the 4-Rebill too. You can search those if you want to read about it. Looks like that has been going on for a while with a lot of folks window sticker. I hope Ford gets these trucks built very soon and we see our trucks before October. Good luck!

Same to you buddy, not a big deal for me at least if the truck doesn’t have a wifi hot spot, tried chatting with ford customer service today and was less than thrilled with the information or lack of it that the rep could provide, seems like you run into a rep every now and then that is just really tight lipped about what information they give to you outside of what you can already see on the Ford tracking website

Yep, I had one Friday. She was not giving me any information that I didn't already know. I guess we will get our Mavericks when we get it. It sure would be nice if Ford communicated some of this stuff to us but that ain't gonna happen. I had no idea it was going to take 12 months or more to get one. My Camry had 120,000 miles when I ordered this thing and now it has new tires and 138000 miles. I guess that sucker would run forever cause it doesn't use a drop of oil but I was sure thinking I would be driving a Maverick by now.

I'm trying to source where I read that it means a vehicle has been rescheduled for production. I could also mean it's waiting to go through a different assembly line.

Thanks for that information, better than the information we’re getting from Ford themselves lol

Looks like it is in pre production not actually being produced yet. They need another bullet labeled "in production"!
You're lucky - Ordered 7/26/21 Lariat Hybrid, RR, First Edition, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 - Been in Production since end of May. Been pushed back 14 times to now where I have a eta of 9-4 to 9/12. Still no actual build date on the tracker, but I do believe I'm getting closer??? Sure hope so anyway.
