18 months later my Maverick finally shows up at the dealership - yesterday. Was told they have my private offer. As I'm about to make the 2 hour journey to pick it up, salesman texts me saying there's an issue. Awesome.
According to him he can see the rebate but it won't give him the certificate #. Something like it won't let them select it and shows up as unavailable. Says their Ford Rep. won't return any calls. Marvelous.
I called Ford Marketing - 1800-334-4375 and was told they can't do anything and that they don't see anything other than my student discount. Cool.
I chatted with Ford CS and was told to call Ford Marketing. Lovely.
Believe me when I say I cannot wait for this whole process to be over. What a nightmare.
I know others have had similar issues and I have been following as much as I can.
