Wow. So this truck is listed on their site with only stock pics and still shows status as "in transit" and someone has already bought it, lol.

With the current vehicle shortage that's actually not that unprecedented. Plenty of dealers' incoming transporter loads are 3/4 accounted for already.

So I checked around local to me and found a larger dealer showing a Mav "in stock" but with only stock photos. I thought maybe, just maybe, it has just arrived. Called them and he said probably be there end of October, lol.

Was this dealer stock ? Interesting if it was after hearing folks say "that was my build" So I wonder if dealers will retain their first mavericks for test drives/demo units or sell them as quick as possible. I would totally understand if Ford said hey we are sending you these models so you have something to show/demo folks but if they are gone tomorrow then that unit could have gone to a customer order ......

If there is a box behind those bed Flex panels..I think you you could find some push and turn knobs for a quick opening of those.. or just try to buy the factory covers

Iconic Silver XL, Ecoboost engine. Someone had already bought it. The black and blue meshed together VERY well and were almost a similar color. Loved the quality of the seats. Tons of headroom and leg space in the front and rear. Everything I touched felt well put together and very sturdy. Very easy to see over the hood of the truck as well.​

Those rims are just screaming "Please replace me!"

Ventura CA is quite a hike from Hermosillo--I would've expected one to arrive in San Diego, Tucson, or Phoenix area first.

Also, we're still 2 weeks from the embargo lift... hundreds of people will have their truck before Oct 6.
