I’ve had two instances where when slowing to a stop (via regenerative breaking) at about 3-5mph the front end started shaking.

The feel of it was much like what happens when you run a shopping cart over those brail patches that warn you you’re about entering the parking lot.

Can’t replicate it on command.

Anyone have any insights, seen this or know what is going on?

If it's CV axles it likely should show up on almost every stop.

Also - go thru a corner with some power application coming out.
Problem CVJ should show up there first.

That is also the speed the pads are brought in more with actual pressure when braking, starting about 8-9 mph.

So get your EV Coach up on the screen if you don't normally.
Be familiar with the color change when you go past regen.
Brake hard enough past regen by just barely a little bit at say 10 mph, 15, & 20. Use a back unused road of course.

Obviously the rotors are turning much faster - but if it's a matter of pads barely coming in like the final stop after a good regen braking slowdown - the shakes should still be there just faster.

How many miles on 24MY?
Had any brake work yet? Guessing not.
Not exactly rust belt area I suppose.

Still doesn't mean a caliper pin slider couldn't be sticking.

I have noticed some braking oopsies where one of the front wheels has slightly less traction than the other; gravel, dip pothole... The regen and friction braking strategy seems to be momentarily confused and there is some shudder before coming to a stop. In one pothole case, there was a slight surge forward in that last few feet.

A bit over 6000 miles on this Mav.
No work other than a couple oil changes. 12v battery replacement.

Your brake coach must be a bit different. Mine only displays a text message after a complete stop. Something like “you recovered 98% of the energy”

Yep....this is exactly what is happening. It's been discussed in the past several times. It is NOT his CV joints.......like mentioned in another post. :sunglasses::sunglasses:

You have the front axle disease. I have had it twice with my 2022. Just call service, quick replacement. CV Joint.
Nope....not the CV or it would do it on "more" of his stops. It is uneven pavement studder. It has been discussed in several posts on here. :fingerscrossed:

The actual full brake coach is a selectable display on the steering wheel menu. I have a '24 Lariat hybrid.

I said EV Coach for a reason - it's different.
