way too much for a 6x9 yes. but if I can spend your money, the Alpine R2 10" with dual 4 ohm coils works in the limited air space you get from a ground shaker box, or sound decisions, or you can build your own.Another change in plans. I canceled the JBL Nano BassPro order. We are in the process of moving and going through stuff in the garage. I found a JL XD600.1 I put away and totally forgot I had. Nice surprise! I want to use the JL but thinking it is too much for the 6x9 sub I have. I might add a second 6x9. Tap the B&O sub input for input to the JL. Hope to install it all next week. Will update.
