I had my dealer place my base XL Hybrid (just a hitch option) order in Jan 2022 (technially my name was assigned to a dealer allocated truck). My truck was not built and I received the, "you will be eligible for a private offer" email.

I had my dealer submit a new order for a 2023 truck on 20 Sept and I received a FMC email showing my 2023 order has been placed. -No Vin yet, no build date, etc. The dealer told me they attached my 2022 order to the 2023 order.

I called Ford Marking twice (1-800-334-4375) and each time, they did not know why I not received a private offer for $2750. They said I should have, but it was not showing. I asked them what they/I can do and the answer I got back was..
"Only your ordering dealer can do anything, they have all the tools they need to make it happen, we can't help you.." as well as
"If your dealer does not help you, all you can do is submit a note to us..., its only an offer not a guarantee"

I called my dealer and they said, "they don't see the private offer certificate associated with my order" and there is nothing they can do.

This whole process is blowing my mind. Am i just hosed and nobody from Ford can help me out? Is there something I should be telling my dealer on how to get the offer?

That's even more of a mystery since dealers weren't supposed to get stock Hybrids. But since you weren't the one that ordered it probably has something to do with why no private offer.

The dealer had gotten a few hybrid allocations and mine was their last. I received many ford emails and confirmed with FMC that the order was in my name. I received the same personal emails as all others Including that I was eligible for the private offer. Ford Marketing confirmed I was eligible. My dealer shows that I have a military offer/certificate and a auto show certificate offer both associated with my current (and past) Maverick order.
Ford Marketing said they have had this issue with a few other folks, but I’d love to hear from someone in the know.

You didn’t order a 22 hybrid in Jan 22, so there is no soup for you. Mystery solved Scoob!
Ford Marking said I am indeed eligible as the 2022 order was assigned to my name.

I’m not sure that is 100% correct. Both my dealer and FMC marketing confirmed they my 2022 truck had been switched to COVP verified retail order in my name and that I was eligible (and got the email etc). But, I’d rather have non-speculation than my best guesses at this point.

Giving the unusually unique nature of your situation probably the only non-speculative answers are going to be Ford and dealer who've already weighed in.

Your dealer told you (they are full of shit) and ford marketing told you (they are completely lost)
You never ordered a 2022 Maverick so your not getting a private offer

As others have noted, MY22 USA hybrid orders closed 11/15/21. Since you did not order this truck, you would not be eligible.

You are not alone. I placed an order on Oct 1, 2021 for an XL Hybrid. I was #7 at my dealer but the dealer only got 5 allocations for the entire year :-/ When I placed my MY23 order, no private offer shows up. Called Ford several times and they just say "talk to your dealer". Daler says "we don't know and the COVP system is currently down so we can't check. However, we are fairly confident that your COVP was submitted last year.". I submitted my DL, signed order, etc and this dealer did get at least some retail allocations so they seemed to have followed the process at least for other orders. If you do a search on MTC, you will see quite a lot of folks in this same situation. The most common excuse for a Private Offer not showing up has been that "the MY22 order has not been balanced out yet so no Private Offer is available". I think this is a red herring but many folks here have reported hearing that from Ford or their dealers.

I would be pressing the issue more but waiting for the dust to settle reguarding allocations first. No sense to get worked up at this point when the chances of actually getting my MY23 is probably 5% or less. My guesstimate (based on basic math and a few conservative assumptions) is that less than 30% of all MY23 hybrid orders are going to get filled.

Do you know if your priority code ever dropped below a 10? If it did you were rovp approved, Ford only lowered the priority for approved orders.

I saw that my 2022 order priory code went from 80 to 19 but I never asked after that.
