Priority Code 3 ?

I truly apologize for asking this question because I’m sure it’s been asked hundreds if not thousands of times. My son had to make a new order for his maverick because another dealership refused to sell it to him for MSRP a nice little mark up of 9.5 thousand.. He completed the order on August 23. The dealership gave him a priority code of three. Is that a good priority code?

That is the very best PC the dealer can grant. Only Ford can make it higher, like they have done on MY2023 carryovers that were upgraded to PC 2.

It means nothing. Just a number. Dealer allocations is what determines if you will get a maverick. No allocations=no maverick. Some folks have been waiting almost 2 years.

Yeah, I don’t understand the BS from Ford on why some of people wait so long. This is a reorder because my wonderful dealership screwed me over by adding an extra $9,700 market adjustment. So I told them off reorder somewhere else

Priority Code 3 is the best the dealer can assign but please remember that is for priority for THAT DEALER'S orders. If you dealer set all orders to 03 then no order has priority. A 03 at one dealer won't get priority over a 19 at another dealer.

I’ve never heard a code that low. If that’s true you should be on the top of the list. My dealer refused to give me any code lower than 19. My Lariat was ordered last Sept. 16 th it finally came in a month ago.

This model year 3 is the lowest a dealer can set a PC to. A month ago, I ordered another Maverick after my original 2023 Maverick was totaled from the rear. I told the dealer the situation and they gave me a priority code of 5. My 2024 Maverick was recently scheduled in the first scheduling session.

Refused, that’s unfortunate. My was a 14 and my son had a 16. Were two months apart. The BS dealership refused to sell my son his. We complained to numerous Ford departments. They had us go to another “trustworthy” dealership and explain. He was told that it would be expedited and gave a 3 code and said it’s the best a dealership can do. They said 1 & 2 were strictly for higher ups at Ford. The reorder will be 1 week on 8/29. We’ll see what happens.
