Any pics of the screen with fault messages ?I did send this to the NTSB.
Mine just died in the middle of a highway. Switched into neutral doing 60, almost got hit by a semi that was right behind me when the truck switched and started to rapidly decelerate. Adding to that fun was when the vehicle automatically switched into park while there still was forward motion. My family was in the truck too, them screaming we’re going to die (for real) and the truck telling me everything is failing is not what I expect out of a modern vehicle. I didn’t think I would have to put my family’s life at risk while driving a ford. These vehicles need to be taken off the road and ford needs to be held responsible. Least ford could have done was turn on my Hazard lights.
The dealer is telling me they can’t recreate it and the codes don’t match the recall. But they see the limp mode… I hate this dealer I have no other option. I’m so sick of ford and my maverick.
Does anyone have any replacement truck suggestions?
During or after event?
Any pics of the fault codes? And numbers and on which modules ?
If you’re going to change vehicles I’d go f150 powerboost.
Or maybe the explorer hybrid
Otherwise you can go Tacoma for $10k-20k more , no hybrid and smaller cab .
