bottom of tv box on bed floor, lean to either side of truck bed, strap it down securely so it doesn't fly out imo

Keep it upright, slide into the center of the bed, strap it with two straps going from the drivers side to the passenger side, hooked to the bed rails (preferably) or the fixed tie down points, and one more strap around the back (helps prevent it from sliding backwards).

If you have some scrap wood (1x2s, 2x4's whatever), lay a couple pieces perpendicular across the bed floor so that the TV has something level to sit on and doesn't try to tip over in the bed ridges.

Best way to transport big screen TV when you own a Maverick: Have it delivered.
100% agree. Those suckers are too pricey and awkward to handle to risk damage. I had mine delivered and installed, and they hauled away a very heavy 55" TV.

Up straight on the right side, tied down to cargo rails. Wifey got the old one, it was better than hers.

My thought: Upright against either the left or right wheel well. Use an empty box on top of the wheel well as a vertical support. You can determine the size before you get the TV. Use cargo straps to secure the upright TV. The standard tie downs on the Mav do pretty well. Don't cinch the TV box too tightly, just enough to make it stable or you risk damage to the TV.

It made it here all the way from China or Korea, it would be a shame to damage it during the last mile of transport

But yea, free delivery is the option I chose for this one.

Crossing my fingers it wont be like the delivery reviews from their website

I actually transported a 65” tv 30 miles and had it lying flat in the bed of my truck. Set it up and had no problems. I’ve had several other people say the same thing 808Goose! Said.

I bought a 77” last winter and I laid it flat with tailgate up and partially hanging out.
No issues and the store employee was the one suggesting that based on previous experience. Those things are typically well packaged with lots of foam block.
