I know this has been covered. I have a Rockville SS8P powered sub that I plan on installing. I can't get a hold of anyone at Hoel or LLJ. So now what is the best way to wire this thing? Is there another harness maker?

do you have the base sound system or B&O?I know this has been covered. I have a Rockville SS8P powered sub that I plan on installing. I can't get a hold of anyone at Hoel or LLJ. So now what is the best way to wire this thing? Is there another harness maker?
That one wasn't an option when I started my system, I went with the LLJ. That said, it looks very similar to the LLJ DIY harness I used.Anyone considered or used this: https://www.crutchfield.com/S-weakq5GQNmt/p_541LPHFD31/PAC-LPHFD31-LocPro-Advanced-T-Harness.html
I bought a Chinese Puzu PZ-C7 DSP Amp on eBay and it came with a Plug & Play harness. The DSP Amp has outputs for a Sub and in my case is a Rockville RW68CA. The plug & play harness also has a Remote wire so the subwoofer comes on automatically.I know this has been covered. I have a Rockville SS8P powered sub that I plan on installing. Kicker is way better thank Rockville, sounds like he gave you great advice.Well..... I ended up getting a hold of Joe from Plug and Play. Instead of piecing together a harness and a Rockville sub, I ended up with a plug and play harness bundled with a kicker hideaway. Then I told him I had gotten some infinity door and rear speakers on a good deal, and so the harness will have a kicker key in it as well. What the hell did I do, the truck hasn't even shipped yet![]()
Hey sorry I took so long. If you go to the plug n play kits website, there is a tech support number at the top. The site is a little confusing, but the guy on the phone was really helpful albeit a busy guy. Kit 16, I think it was, was like 800 bucks, but is everything I need to do the kicker key and 10" hideaway really easily. This is the setup I wanted. Can you tell me what the cost was and how to reach out to Joe? I'm not familiar with that website.
Mine is due any day and I have mods piling up. lolWell..... I ended up getting a hold of Joe from Plug and Play. Wellll, I don't have a truck yet... But the harness and everything came and it looks super simple. And as far as mounting goes, I've seen a bunch of other guys just bolt a board to that bracket where the B&O sub would go, yeah. I'm going to use a plastic cutting board. So will the powered kicker 10 inch just simply bolt to a board or directly to the amp rack? I prefer the 10 over the 8. I'm not mechanically inclined so it's gotta be simple. wiring it with the adapter harness won't be a problem as it looks to just plug in and run the power wire based on what im seeing
Yup. I just received another box into my closet yesterday. But also the truck just popped up in production, so maybe that stuff will be out in time for spring cleaning lolMine is due any day and I have mods piling up. lol
It’ll probably need to be flattened out and a plywood inbetween. For now I have it just sitting behind the backseatSo will the powered kicker 10 inch just simply bolt to a board or directly to the amp rack? I prefer the 10 over the 8.
