It’ll probably need to be flattened out and a plywood inbetween. For now I have it just sitting behind the backseat
Thanks. I might just go with the 8. I was thinking about literally using a plastic or wood cutting board as a backer lol.

I can confirm that this harness works for the non B&O sound system. Allows for a line out converter and using the factory wiring to amplify the speakers using the stock wiring.
This is good to know info as I was looking on Crutchfield at this harness, and they say it wouldn't work on my hybrid's base stereo. Would using this harness allow me to add on a powered sub using line level inputs?

Just looked it up and found it on Amazon, I just mentioned because of the fast delivery and easy return process of amazon.

According to Amazon it doesn't fit my truck.

Did you installed in your maverick base audio system ?

I build plug and play harnesses and the forum audio vendor here. I can help if interested.

I saw that on Amazon as well. Does the Amazon offering come with the additional harnesses mentioned in colinl's post? The picture only showed the main harness that goes between the factory radio and speaker harness.

Thanks Colin. That's exactly what I was looking for. I don't want to mess with the factory harness at all. Again, thanks for putting the word out that this will work with our trucks. All the places that carried this made no mention that it would work on a Maverick.

welcome.

one thing you might want to know for the future is that if you add an amp and replace the door speakers, if you connect the amp's speaker outputs to the LPH-SPK V2-A Harness (front signal from amp), you still have to deal with the factory door & dash wiring which has a split and passive crossover.

if you want to either bi-amp the door mid & dash tweeter or use a component set passive crossover, you're going to have to run new wire to the dash tweeters.

Freaking awesome. Thanks a lot, you're giving some hope, the other prices are for loop and better cables but Jesus spensive as hell. With the one you posted I could play a bit and save some $$.

Thanks.
