Wow! The driver must have climbed through the vehicle to the back to get out. I am always looking for a way to save a few dollars but this is a little extreme. Funny thing is if he got a longer truck it would have fit!

Could have rented a vehicle tow dolly for less than that U-Haul truck lol. I'm in the middle of relocating and it's only like $75 for the vehicle trailers. Although they were probably trying to avoid wear and tear from towing with their personal vehicles.

They could have also gotten a bigger truck for like $20 lol

Unpopular opinion, but I admire the ingenuity. I can see a guy looking at the U-Haul and the SUV and kinda sizing them up. "Yeah....that'll work."
Beside all that, the person was apparently driving around for days being seen before someone called the police. It WAS working.

Don't have to assume anything:

From the article:

State Patrol Trooper John Bryant posted about it being pulled over on Highway 97, north of Okanogan.

The driver was cited for failing to secure a load, which resulted in a $139 fine, KXLY reported.

In addition, the driver didn’t have a valid license and the U-Haul was long overdue.

Why is that not surprising to me.

Do Redneck's exist everywhere because this happened in Okanogan, in north-central Washington?

From the article:

People in Okanogan, in north-central Washington, have been seeing a U-Haul with an SUV hanging out of the back for the past couple of days. The only thing keeping it from falling out was a packing strap.
When I originally replied there was no link to any article just a picture.

Right, until it's YOUR loved one that's anywhere near this F-tard when it suddenly doesn't work.....

LOL. I'm in the same boat. I look at that and think to myself, "No way I'd have the cajones to make that work"

I don't think anyone is approving of it or would want to see that rolling down the street next to them but it sure is a marvel to see.

IMO, if anyone really deserves our ire it's the Washington State Legislature who've engineered laws that make this guy only liable for a $139 ticket even though he's driving a death trap with a suspended license in a stolen truck (pardon me, "long overdue"... I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding).

You can get fined more for Jaywalking in some places.
