What chains do you use for hunting camp? My 2022 Hybrid Lariat got stuck in the ice this year so I bought 17" steelies and Michelin Ice-X SUV snow tires (only size available was 235/65/R17).
Now I see the owners manual says: "Do not use snow chains or cables with 235/65R17" and

How's your MPGs in comparison to the stock tires? The Ice-X are designed for hybrids but I wasn't able to get them in the takeoff stock size of 225/65/17, had to go with 235/65/17. I'm seeing a decrease in MPG which isn't great. Probably losing 5-8 MPG compared to stock tires (225/60/18).
Yeah the rims came with them
Yeah - the rims came with them and some extra black paint. I believe I'd need different lug nuts to use the badges but honestly haven't tried yet.
They got 17" of snow in a prior storm, we haven't seen anything like that in years - now I know to call the ranger first before heading up. Without snow tires, I made it in and out of snow when parking on the side of the road without issue. This is my first non 4x4 vehicle, definitely was not...
Snow tires and rims for my 2022 Hybrid Lariat in Alto blue. Picked up 17" steelies from a 2024 XL for $300 (previous owner painted them with Duplicolor gloss black wheel paint). The OEM steelies had TPS sensors, they seemed to calibrate immediately when I left the shop.
Bought 235/65R-17...
What size X-Ice did you go with? I picked up 17" OEM steelies for my hybrid lariat. Wanted to put 225/65/17 x-ice tires on them but can only find 235/65/17
Could have rented a vehicle tow dolly for less than that U-Haul truck lol. I'm in the middle of relocating and it's only like $75 for the vehicle trailers. Although they were probably trying to avoid wear and tear from towing with their personal vehicles.
They could have also gotten a bigger...
It's Alto blue, real happy with the color. Looks greenish blue in the sunlight, black in the shadows, lot of variation.
Pretty tough to keep clean but the metallic paint helps to hide the dust a bit.
I reached out to Leer and got a response yesterday. Looks like they have two options (recreation and commercial) planned to be ready mid-February. I attached the email response.
