Part of the reason for buying my Tremor is to go a bit further off road and camp where there are less peeps. I’ve used Rigid pack out baskets, and misc storage bins for my camping gear for years in different vehicles, and different trailers. Other intent for the truck since I’m looking to go further into the abyss, is be only on 4 wheels, and as we all know the beds are pretty small on these trucks. Saw someone else use bins for storage.

Luckily I live not to far from Plano molding in Plano IL. I had to go there so on my list of things to do yesterday was stop at the Plano outlet store. They have always been very accommodating, I’ve done similar things before. They let me take multiple bins out to my truck and see what would fit and what wouldn’t. Came up with this for now, I say now because I intend on getting a cap and when I do I can go easily two levels. And they key into each other. They do not lock onto each other, but I’m sure I could use straps to hold them down if need be.

All in all I was $51.42 in for the six bins. Black ones mode # 1719 are longer than the green model #.

Ok so I just realized how lucky I am to be close to the outlet store.

The bins sell on amazon for $44 each for the 1719, and cheapest I saw the 1619 was $17 each.

Think I need to get back there and get the other six I was thinking of getting eventually. Because I have other hobbies that I can use them for as well.

I use a similar Plano bin too. The one I use is model 1919, 108 quart with wheels and four latches. I add a seal around the groove in the lid.

Unfortunately the Amazon price has gone up recently. They're almost double the price I paid last year.

I didn’t check the number. But I think that is what else they had. Was like $10 and some change. But decided to go a bit smaller as I store my camping stuff down stairs and didn’t want to overload my back.

That's good thinking, and your setup with the smaller trunks also more efficiently uses the Maverick's bed space. I think you could probably only get three of the 108 quart trunks in there. The large ones work well for me because I only use one or two of them at a time and tie them down.

Ideally, I'd like to find a similar trunk that is taller, to use up more of the space between the bed floor and the tonneau.

What a deal! I just have a single Husky 27g box with the locking lid handles.

I use them as well for camping gear and the window seal "hack" to keep moisture/dust out is worth the couple bucks. Made in the U.S. as you mentioned, which is nice.

Thanks so much for these photos and info! I'm about to go on a long road trip with my Maverick and was looking for bins that would fit well. Seeing photo evidence that 3 of these medium-sized bins (the black ones) fit perfectly side-by-side gave me confidence to order them and I think they'll be perfect for my needs.

Home Depot has them for less than Amazon, and veterans can receive a 10% discount, if you've set up your Home Depot account. Just ordered the six; three 1719 in green and three 1619 in "smoke" (cheapest color - so check each color for the price).

Thanks for the tip! These will be very useful in our upcoming move.

Academy Sports has them as well, much cheaper than Amazon.
