Passenger door (touch electronic lock) only working sometimes

I cannot figure out for the life of me why the door touch lock feature only works some of the time on my passenger side. It's never an issue with my driver side door. Any advice? I've tried a million combinations of locking/unlocking the vehicle when it's not working but can't crack the code. Then some days, it works with no issue. I am thinking its electrical. Thoughts?

Battery not fully charged, I know most push button start vehicles tend to work that way.

What Toddman45 said. Your 12v battery is not fully charged.

Put the battery on a battery maintainer overnight and the problem should go away. If you don't have one, get a NOCO at Walmart or Amazon.

Get your 12V battery tested. Its probably sulphated and unable to hold sufficient charge overnight. Its a well-known problem due to (a) unexpected large battery draw while shut down and (b) the BMS never charging the battery past about 70%, causing the sulphation issue. If you're under the 3/36 warranty period, you can get a free replacement battery.
