Over the past 2 weeks I was on vacation (killing little clay targets in southern Illinois) and my Maverick was used daily to drive, generally, short distances (a mile or two) 5-10 times a day, back and forth on the event grounds, and once or twice during the week into town which is about 6 miles.
Near the end of last week, a few things started happening.
The dome lights would not go on when I opened the door, and the passenger door unlocking/locking mechanism wouldn't work (where you stick your hand into the door handle with the fob in your pocket, and it unlocks, nor would it lock when I touched the top of the door handle), and a few times the (dealer add-on) keypad wouldn't unlock the door.
However, today it all works fine.
I seem to recall having gotten the "Remote features disabled to preserve battery" message.
I assume this all went away because I drove it 300 miles on Saturday and now the battery is back to being fully charged???
